I always wondered about traveling to Cambodia but have read a lot of mixed stories. Would you consider it a safe place? Adam Bear recently posted…The Start Up Kids Reply Christine June 26, 2014 at 12:55 pm Thank you Adam. Phnom Penh was my favourite destination the last time I was there, in 2011. I really wanted to go back and live there as I loved it so much. I have read a couple of recent accounts about travellers getting robbed though, so I’m not sure whether it has changed since I have been there. I wouldn’t let that stop you visiting though. The people are so lovely and the history of the place is amazing, so I would still highly recommend it. Maybe talk to someone who has been there this year and weigh it up then. I think it you were careful you would be fine. 🙂 Christine recently posted…Kuta Seaview Boutique Resort, Bali Reply Adam Bear June 26, 2014 at 9:41 pm Yeah I’ve been to Thailand a lot and it seems like a lot of the stories of people getting robbed are from tourists who are careless and out in bad places late at night. Perhaps many of the stories from Cambodia are similar. Thanks for the honest response! Adam Bear recently posted…Is College Worth It?
